Ottawa children and families, come discover and celebrate your inner hero! The 30th Ottawa Children’s Storytelling Festival is organized in partnership with Ottawa StoryTellers and will take place on November 2, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm at Ben Franklin Place (101 Centrepointe Drive). As this year's theme is superheroes, you will hear thrilling tales of superheroes, legends, and everyday champions in the Chamber. In addition to oral storytelling, children aged 2 to 12 can look forward to crafts and games.
The Ottawa Children’s Storytelling Festival is now a tradition for Ottawa families who are excited to meet storytellers from here and across Canada in English and French. This year, those heroic tales will surely nurture children’s imagination.
It is part of the Library’s mission to spark curiosity and cultivate the joy of reading, learning, discovering, and creating through literacy activities and programs such as the storytelling festival. As autumn slowly gives way to winter, don’t miss this incredible opportunity to have fun with families and friends!
