Are you in a phase of self-discovery, searching for your talents, your passion, and what truly inspires you? You may be looking for answers but still uncertain about which path to follow. Perhaps you occasionally write in a journal without knowing if writing is your true calling. Your mind is brimming with ideas, yet you're unsure where to begin.
At the Library, we provide a variety of resources to help guide you on your creative journey. Every year, as part of the Super Authors writing contest, local writers host workshops on different literary genres. These engaging sessions take place on Saturdays on the following dates:
- Feb 8, at 11 am (online): How to become an awesome comic book writer with author Éric Péladeau
- Feb 8, at 2 pm (Stittsville): Short Story Workshop with author Catherine Austen
- Feb 8, 2025 at 2 pm (online): Comment devenir un super bédéiste avec l’auteur Éric Péladeau
- Feb 22, at 2 pm (online): Short Story Workshop with author Amelinda Bérubé
Now’s your chance! If you love putting your thoughts into words, capturing the world around you, sharing your experiences, or simply letting your imagination soar, don’t hold back—participate in the Awesome Authors contest!
As Gabrielle Roy wisely said:
"Writing is a way to speak without being interrupted."
Embrace your creativity and start writing freely!
