Thank you for your support!

In 2013, the Ottawa community donated to the Ottawa Public Library either directly or through the Friends of the Ottawa Public Library Association (FOPLA). OPL extends its appreciation to the many donors who have provided financial support for the Library. The extraordinary generosity of our donors plays a critical role in growing OPL’s programs and services for our community.

Friends of the OPL Association

Message from the President, Colin Plows

“Each year our organization donates hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Ottawa Public Library for programming and furnishings, and we can be confident that the purchases made with FOPLA funds help our branches deliver valuable services to our communities. As Friends of our Library, we know the Library is doing great work for our city and we will continue to support OPL as it delivers services in all its forms. We have our remarkable volunteers and members to thank for our accomplishments and continued success. On behalf of the FOPLA Board, thank you.”
