Your teen is bursting with energy and eager to learn. Adolescence is a pivotal stage—when curiosity is at its peak—a bridge between childhood and adulthood, and a time for passing on traditions, cultures, knowledge, and essential life skills.
You may wish you had more time to share everything you learned from your parents and grandparents. Good news! Throughout spring break, from March 16 to 21, the library is offering a series of engaging workshops for teens ages 13 to 18. These hands-on activities are designed to help young people build practical life skills while having fun.
Participants will have the opportunity to create costumes, learn artistic makeup techniques, develop personal finance skills, and explore much more. Activities may include:
