October is Library Month ✨ — a time when libraries across Canada proudly celebrate the vital role they play in their communities. This year, Ottawa Public Library (OPL) is rolling out the welcome mat under the joyful theme: Meet Me at the Library!
Step inside and discover a place where fun and learning go hand in hand, where talents take root and flourish, where you can enjoy endless leisure activities, connect with others, find a quiet refuge, and simply be yourself.
Teachers, parents, guardians — bring your teens to the library! Let’s spark passions, create memories, and enjoy a comfortable, inspiring space made just for them. Bonus: tote bags, bookmarks, keychains, snacks — and lots of fun!

From October 1 to 31, visit your local branch and experience a variety of inspiring and creative programs that showcase the richness of our collections — digital and physical — and the diversity of services we offer.
