Philippe Godoc
Arriving in Guadeloupe in 1983 for a sports experience, Philippe Godoc fell in love with the island and decided to stay. An active advocate for marine conservation, he founded the Guadeloupe Aquarium and presides over several environmental organizations. His dedication earned him the title of Chevalier de l’Ordre du Mérite Maritime. His interest in true crime was sparked while investigating the Chlordecone scandal in the Antilles, which inspired his book Kepone.

A presenter, columnist, voice-over artist, and conference interpreter, he has hosted numerous high-profile events such as the Order of Ottawa Ceremony and Canada Day Celebrations. Renowned for his charisma and professionalism, he frequently moderates roundtables and conferences and has conducted nearly a hundred interviews with various authors.
